Help Your Teen Feel Less Anxious and More Joyful Again
Life as a teen isn’t always easy.
And as a parent, your heart aches watching your child navigate the ups and downs of adolescence.
You may find yourself lying awake at night, exhausted from worry, wondering how your once carefree kid became a stressed-out teen. Maybe you’re asking yourself, “What can I possibly do to help?”
It’s painful to see your child struggling. When they hurt, you hurt, and all you want is to ease their pain.
Is your teen facing any of the following challenges?
They seem more anxious or withdrawn than usual.
They're overwhelmed by schoolwork and constantly on edge.
They're worried about friendship issues but hesitant to open up to you.
They just don’t seem like themselves anymore, and you're desperate to help.
The teenage years can feel like an emotional rollercoaster—for both teens and their parents.
The good news? Your teen doesn’t have to navigate this alone.
With the right support, things can get better. Many teens just need a safe, judgment-free space to share what they’re going through—someone outside of their immediate circle who really listens. That’s where I come in.
Therapy Can Help Your Teen Feel Better
It is possible for your teen to get to a better place.
Imagine if they could:
Feel less anxious and overwhelmed
Express their feelings and needs with confidence
Build stronger, more meaningful friendships
Feel happier, more self-assured, and comfortable in their own skin
Develop healthy coping skills to manage life’s challenges
Picture your teen feeling more at ease— more grounded, more confident, and better equipped to face whatever comes their way. If that’s the kind of support you want for them, I’d be honored to help guide them there.
How Therapy For Teens Works
Therapy for Teens offers a judgment-free space to explore their challenges, build self-awareness, and develop tools for managing tough moments, leading to greater peace and resilience.
1. Start with the Parent Perspective
We’ll begin our work together with an initial session just for you, the parent. This is a chance for you to share your insights, observations, and concerns about your teen. I’ll gather important background information to help guide our work and ensure we’re aligned in supporting your teen.
2. Build a Safe Space for your Teen
Next, I’ll meet with your teen one-on-one—typically on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. In these sessions, I create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where they feel safe to express themselves freely and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.
3. Support Growth, Insight, and Confidence
Throughout our sessions, we’ll work together to explore your teen’s emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I’ll offer reflections and ask thoughtful questions to help them better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and grow in confidence. The ultimate goal? Helping your teen thrive and feel more at ease as they navigate life.
